How to Connect Android Device to PC
Are you having trouble connecting Android device to computer via USB? Before you do data recovery, at first you need connect Android device to your PC using the USB cable. But if you have not enable USB debugging, the computer cannot recognize your Android device. The USB debugging was set in the different place of different Android versions. Following is the guide:
How to Enable USB debugging for different Android versions
For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter “Settings” > Click “Applications” > Click “Development” > Check “USB debugging”
For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter “Settings” > Click “Developer options” > Check “USB debugging”
For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter “Settings” > Click “About Phone” > Tap “Build number” for several times until getting a note “You are under developer mode” > Back to “Settings” > Click “Developer options” > Check “USB debugging”
After make sure enable USB debugging, you can launch the recovery software to begin your data recovery.
